- Architect on a legacy data platform modernisation for a leading telecom provider: 13 repositories consolidated into one composable platform, ~60 endpoints reduced to ~13, and ~200 stored procedures lifted out of the database into versioned, testable, event-driven domain services.
- Lead architect for an enterprise platform consolidating two property and rental systems — system design, project plan and a fixed-price offer with a committed delivery date.
- Architect and developer on a debt collection integration, built as an event-driven subsystem within a distributed system.
- MVP for an oil reservoir production optimiser, cutting per-simulation configuration time for customer and investor demonstrations.

- Solutions architect for a sensor integration company: stabilised a broken production application with a lightweight interim release, then rebuilt it at full scale with a new architecture, database, API strategy and authentication.
- On the commercial side of the same engagement — market research, partner and customer outreach at conferences and exhibitions, and identifying business cases for sales and funding applications.

- Tech lead and architect for Domstoladministrasjonen, the Norwegian National Courts Administration, on case management systems and the communication services connecting parts of the Norwegian legal system.

Full-stack consulting across three domains at once: case management for Statens Vegvesen, production systems for a large food distributor, and an integration platform for a food company.
- Trygg Tunnel for Statens Vegvesen — tunnel lifecycle management shared by two road authorities, and the first system to show the status of every tunnel in Norway. Built end-to-end tests with the test lead covering business-critical flows; sole developer from August to November 2021.
- A case management system for traffic law, built from scratch and commissioned through to production.
- Reverse-engineered unversioned Java 6 running in production, plus MS SQL and DB2 stored procedures, to recover and document the business logic for a replacement integration platform.
- Evaluated and guided the agile working process for an embedded development team.
Software Engineer, Supply Chain
Q-Free ASA
A fully autonomous team owning both hardware and software for the production lines. On-premise distributed production systems, operator GUIs, and a web application for customer orders and delivered products. Mainly Python and C#.
- Worked with electrical engineers in the laboratory on early research into new strategies for testing tolling hardware and software.
- Implemented new products into existing production lines.
- Travelled to production partners for commissioning, maintenance and support.
- Took part in the duty scheme covering the production lines.
Sales Engineer
Øwre-Johnsen AS
Sales and solution development for automation systems — motor control, process instrumentation, and operator control and monitoring — including commissioning. Customers in land-based industry, marine, aquaculture and municipalities.
- Siemens S7 PLC: used the internal web server to collect data from ultrasound level transmitters, applying linear regression models to produce values visualised on web pages and HMI operator panels.
- Elster energy and water meters over wireless M-Bus networks.
- Danfoss drives with feedback control on pumps.

MSc Engineering Cybernetics, Control Engineering
Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)
Thesis: Comparing Controllers for Dynamic Positioning of Ships in Extreme Seas. Design, implementation and experimental verification of two controllers for ship station keeping — sliding mode control against PID with acceleration feedback — tested on Cybership 3 in the Marine Cybernetics Laboratory, and scored on a new metric combining thruster energy consumption with pose precision.
